Coaching Philosophy: I believe in keeping it simple with a no nonsense, holistic approach to training that will give you genuine improvements and ensure you are strong enough to conquer your goals whilst maintaining balance in your life. 

Sporting Achievements

  • Podiums at Middle Distance Triathlon, Etape Wales and the Newport Marathon 
  • 4x Ironman finishes (Ironman Wales – PB: 10:34) 
  • 27th in GC at the 7-day Haute Route Alps (2019)
  • 20th overall at the Welsh Hill Climb Championships 
  • Everesting the ‘Tumble’ 

Bucket list event: The Trans-Continental and Trans-Pyrenees – A true self sufficient adventure on the roads less travelled. 

Favourite Athlete: Marco Pantani or Julian Alaphilippe – The kind of attacking flamboyant cyclists who get you romantic about the sport. 

Favourite Food: Vietnamese or Thai if I’m being good. If I’ve done a monster session it’s all about PIZZA! 

On a day off I like to: Take the kayak out with my partner
