Welcome to WhittleFit 

Whoever you are and whatever your goals might be, WhittleFit are here to guide you on your triathlon journey. Our goal is to design and develop personalised endurance training programs that really work for the individual. We recognise that no two people are alike, everyone is unique in their strengths, weaknesses, lifestyle and goals, therefore we design an individual training plan, one that will set you up for success.

Whether your goal is to get fit, do your first triathlon, attempt a challenging Ironman endurance event or set a new personal best; WhittleFit are here to help you achieve your goals. With over twenty years of training, racing and coaching experience, we have learned there are many different approaches to achieving success. We will find the right approach for you!

Train with WhittleFit from anywhere in the world with our premium online triathlon coaching options, from beginner athlete to elite level athlete.

Training Plans

Arrive fully prepared for your ‘A’ race of the season with our stand alone Training Peaks plans and supplemental training plans.

1-2-1 Coaching

Face-to-face triathlon coaching in all of the triathlon disciplines, also including bike fit, Wattbike training and strength & conditioning training.

Endless Pool Coaching

Our Endless Pool coached swim sessions predominantly cover swim technique, but we can also include individual topics such as pace control.

2 years ago my training was all over the shop. I was driving my body into the ground and i was generally more or less killing myself by doing to much. My brother told me to join up with Mark so i did and ever since i’ve seen nothing but improvement in my performance. My swimming, cycling, running and strength have massively improved. I’m 43 years old and should be getting slower but I'm actually getting faster………..I think that says it all to be honest!

My first Ironman completed under 13 hours and a tough Ironman at that! Unbelievable! Massive thanks to Lawrence Cronk. There were times when I questioned how much training I was doing but I stuck with the plan and I am so glad I did. It’s a long day but I never felt it was beyond me, in fact I felt comfortable and in control all day, he knows his onions does Lawrence and I can’t wait to draw up plans for next year with him.

Mark Whittle
Founder and Head Coach
Mark has over twenty years experience in competitive sport within the military, multiple Ironman triathlon finishes and has represented Great Britain at World and European Age Group Triathlon Championships.
Vicky Johnston
Triathlon & Swimming Coach
Vicky has raced at the elite British level and is a former European age group champion. Her coaching credentials are without question, Vicky was the head coach of the Loughborough student triathlon squad and is currently a Cardiff Met triathlon academy coach.
Chris Tasker
Triathlon & Cycling Coach
Chris has vast racing and coaching experience with extensive knowledge across multiple cycling disciplines including cross-country mountain bike racing, 24hr solo events, time trialling, road racing and criteriums, cyclo-cross racing and triathlon from sprint to Ironman distance.
Zoe Thomas
Triathlon Coach
Zoe is racing as a professional triathlete at the elite British & European level and has several top 10 European Cup results to her name. Through her coaching, Zoe wants to help people use sport to develop into the best version of themselves that they can be.
Henry Wright
Triathlon & Running Coach
Henry’s endurance background spans 15 years of racing - including mountain biking, trail running, Ironman, road cycling and ultra-running - all of which have re-enforced his number one focus/belief: high quality recovery equals high quality performance.
Lawrence Cronk
Triathlon Coach
Lawrence has represented the Great Britain Age Group Team in the European and World Championships for Long Distance Triathlon. He takes a thorough and scientific approach to coaching and believes you should challenge yourself but you HAVE to enjoy what you do!

Tom is a very experienced high-level athlete, who’s simple, no nonsense approach to coaching ensures athletes conquer their goals whilst maintaining balance in their lives.
Tom Greenfield
Swimming Coach
Tom has raced internationally as a swimmer, representing GB at the World Student Games and the European Championships, before studying to become a Chiropractor. Tom believes preparation is key and that you should train smart, not hard.

WHERE WE RACE

At WhittleFit our coached athletes race all around the world. In the past few seasons we’ve had triathletes race sprint, Olympic, 70.3 and Ironman triathlon races in such countries as the United States, Mexico, South Africa, Australia, Nepal and most of the European nations.
